Donnell Warren is a native of North Carolina. After high school, he served three years in the United States Army. After his discharge, he worked fours years at Duke University Medical Center as a Respiratory Therapy Technician, He then joined the Durham Public Safety Department, during this time he earned an Associate degree from Durham Technical Institute in police science and a BA degree in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University He spent 15 years working as a Public Safety Officer and 14 years as a Fire Captain with the Fire Department. He retired in 2002 and is now the owner of Body of Christ Networking.

Frances Brayboy, Vice President of Bridging the Gap CDC is a native of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She attended Beaufort Technical College, Beaufort, SC and Northern Piedmont Bible Institute, Shaw University extension educated. Mrs. Brayboy is and has been the sole proprietor of Angie's Hats and Boutique for over 30 years. She is a wife of 43 years, mother of two children and her passion is assisting those in need.

Ruby L G Brayboy (Member) is a native of the Commonwealth of Virginia. She served 27 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 2007. She has worked for the State of Virginia with the Virginia Employment Commission and currently works for the Social Security Administration. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Averett University and her Master’s Degree in Human Services and Christian Counseling from Liberty University. She is a wife and mother of three years. Ruby Is passionate about family, friends and Faith in God which allows her to serve others under the guidance of the Holy Spirit through His grace and mercy.

Glenda G. Tinnen ( Treasurer ) moved to North Carolina in 1993 from Richmond, Va. She and her husband Lacy opened their first income tax office in January 1994. Glenda is a member of Orange Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church, where she serves on the Usher Board. She still works with her husband in their income tax business and Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina. Glenda has been married for 23 years, with one son. She enjoys being on the board of Bridging the Gap because we are here to help those in need.

Michael Bernard Brooks was born in Orange County, North Carolina. After graduating Orange High School , he pursued the career of his older brothers to work at Liggett and Myers Tobacco Company.
During the early years of his life, Michael chased many dreams. Michael joined the Marine Corps at the age of 22. After his discharge, he served in the reserves for 13 years. Michael's first love is working on cars. He has been an Auto Technician for 27 years. He has worked for the Orange County Motor Pool Dept. for the last 12 years. Michael is married, has one son and they reside in Orange County. Michael accepted the calling into ministry during the year 2008. Michael's motto is: 1 Cor. 13:13 "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three, but the greatest of these is Charity." And without God's love we are nothing.

Joyce Liggins Warren has been the volunteer Exective Director since July 2014. She shares a vast array of professional experiences from her years in the field of education. During her 30 years of teaching, Joyce served as Science Deptartment Chairperson, Adjunct Professor at Duke University, Mentor for Student Teachers, liaison between area businesses and the school systems, and was always an advocate for the students she taught, After retiring, she became an independent contractor with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction as a 21st Century Community Learning Center Technical Assistant. Here she mentored 21st CCLC Directors across the state and presented at local and regional conferences. Joyce's main focus has and continues to be program management and curriculum development.

Alvis Long was born in Orange County, North Carolina, and raised in Hillsborough North Carolina. After working full-time for 44 years he retired from Liggett Group formerly known as Liggett & Myers Tobacco Company. Mr. Long is a devoted husband, father, grandfather and has been married for 42 years. He has two daughters and three grandchildren. He is the owner of Professional Touch Hair Salon in Hillsborough, NC. Mr. Long is a pillar in his community. He has a passion for outside lawncare, youth empowerment and compassion for the elderly.
